The Basics of Tabletop Puppetry: Understand how gravity informs natural movement and rhythm, how focus is the seed of consciousness, and how breath brings subtle realism to performance.

Solo and Ensemble Techniques: Learn how to animate a single figure with one puppeteer or three puppeteers in harmony.

Hands-On Training: Participants will gain practical experience manipulating tabletop puppets under Fred’s expert guidance. A piece of choreography will be taught. Over the 2 days we will delve deeper and deeper into the subtleties, as well as the vocabulary of walk and swimming.
